The sea view from the apartment was fine, and waking up to the sound of seagulls. The heating in the apartment was great, even allowing for heated floors, a real comfort in cold weather.
The breakfast lacked variety and creativity. It became repetitive after just a few days.

Possibly the best and excellent stay for an exquisite visit every time. Marvellous and beautiful location in the calm area, really close to Istanbul, which is now way too many times to count, Marmara sea, and the tram and famous tourist attractions. Besides, easy to get to an Ottoman - era Friday mosque.

The location is excellent, a short walk
To major tourist attractions like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The staff at Ada Hotel are friendly and helpful. The only downside was the slight noise from the street at night, which might be bothersome for light sleepers.

Our ever-helpful host, Dr. Dogan Sumengen, and his wife. The very clean and comfortable room with tea and coffee whenever we wanted it. The view from the breakfast terrace.
Hard question. If anything, I found the bed a little too hard for my liking.

What makes it worth it, and what doesn't
My room offered a beautiful sea view and was equipped with a kitchenette and a washing machine. Breakfast was delicious and varied.
Some furnishings were worn and could use an update. The shower had a minor issue, slightly affecting my overall experience.

The owners, which are permanently available to you, eager to help and to assist you in any situation are very kind and warm people. The room we stayed in, was very confortable, with a big bad, a sofa, an armchair, three chairs, a table and a desk, an wardrobe containing and a safe, an iron and a ironing table. There are in also a big fridge, a chitken closet whith everything you need to make a coffe or tea, a microwave oven and surprise, a jacuzzi inside the room. The bath room is also new and nice. You get a big lcd tv set and a dvd player in the room and wireless internet acces. Everything in the room is in a excelent condition and well functioning. The breakfast is very good with a many choices and is served in a very nice view of Bosforus on the roof terase. In the entrance lobby there are an internet acces computer for the guest use. Finally the location is in the heart of old SultanAhmed district near the Istambul most important atractions. As an conclusion we had a very nice stay there, that's why we extended it for few days more and compared with condition in "arden" five stars hotel in the nearby, there are a big difference in the advantage of ada.
The entrance is not impresive, is looking like a regular house entry more than a hotel one, the entrance lobby also, but don,t be fooled by this as we've been and don't judge by first impression, you'll see will have a nice time there.

The location is nice, but the dusty corner under the bed left much to be desired. How do they expect me to enjoy my stay without a welcome gift or acknowledgment of my fabulousness?

I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, a living room, a couch, and closet space. Its location was central, 700 feet from a functioning mosque.

Nice hotel in heart of Old Istanbul (Sultanahmet). Simple but very comfortable and quiet and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was functioning and was in top shape. Breakfast was good, served on a rooftop with views of Marmara sea. All and all a wonderful experience.

Location is ideal for sightseeing. Stay was extremely comfortable. Breakfast (included in the room rent) was very good. Mr. Duan manning the front desk is extremely helpful. On the day of our departure, he went out of the way to arrange Baklawa Sweets to be carried away by us for our grandchildren. Complementary tea-making facility in the room was very useful & satisfying. My room even had a Jakuzzi. Marmara sea-view from the room & from the terrace was fantastic.
I cannot think anything negative about this hotel and would strongly recommend this hotel to all those visiting Istanbul.

Dr Rogan, the Proprieter is a wonderdful man, very approachable and very helpful, good person easy to talk to and provides good insigtht into the workings of Istanbul. His Dining Room staff were also very friendly in a natural way, made a big fuss of our children, were very sincere and helpful.
Everything was wonderful, couldnt ask for any improvements.
